Layer by layer, you'll create a beautiful botanical wreath while building confidence with watercolour and discovering the joy of painting directly from nature.

Suggested materials: A 12-pan watercolour set, 300gsm watercolour paper, a size 6 round brush, a size 2 rigger brush (optional), a palette, water and kitchen towel.

Materials you'll need: A brayer (roller), a sheet of polypropylene or a plastic inking plate, some newspaper and printer paper and Cranfield Safewash Relief Ink- Ellie uses Black and Lemon Yellow in this workshop, though you can experiment with your own favourite colours.

Under the gentle guidance of Botanical Artist Ellie Green, you’ll learn how to draw and paint ‘the fungus among us’ using beginner-friendly techniques. Using mushrooms foraged from the Surrey Hills, we’ll work with a dip pen and inks, watercolours and pastel pencils (for finishing touches) to bring our little mushroom studies to life in a soothing and satisfying way.

Suggested materials for this workshop: A 12 pan palette of watercolours, a size 6 round brush, dip pen, drawing inks, 300GSM Watercolour paper and pastel pencils.
