Among the trees - Inks in Autumn

Join us in the garden this October as we draw inspiration from the trees in Autumn - exploring their shapes, textures and the vibrant palette of shifting leaves. In this 2 part mixed media workshop we’ll begin with some mindful photography under the canopy, lightly sketching in charcoal to capture the essence of our subjects.

We’ll pause for tea and home baked cakes before moving through a series of inky experiments later in the day - working with resists, ink droppers and rubbing alcohol to explore washes, layering, colour and texture! You can expect a playful afternoon, with vibrant drawing inks and lots of happy accidents as we let loose…no experience necessary.
